I recently got invited to the 2nd annual Turkey Fest & Expo in Clay County, TX April 10th - 12th. First of all I am honored and excited. They way I understand it is that there are several TV Shows invited and the first couple of days there is a little competition between each crew. There are several categories that we will be competing including heaviest bird, longest spurs, and longest beard. The last morning we get to take out a guest that actually bought the hunt from the night before auction.
It sounds like there is all kinds of activities going on throughout the day as well. I know there is a turkey calling contest, dinner and auction, events at Expo center, and lots of other fun stuff!
