I head out today on a 3 state turkey run...Texas, Kansas, & Nebraska.
Henrietta, TX is the first stop. It's time again for the Clay County Turkey Fest & Expo. Last year I was lucky enough to take the top honors of the Celebrity Turkey Contest with a 4 bearded bird (I'd rather be lucky than good any day!). Good Ol' Kansas is next. Darrell and I are taking NSH #1 Fan contest winners Dwayne & Josh (Father/Son Team) to see Jim Call in Stafford, KS. That will be a great trip and Dwayne & Josh's first trip to Kansas. The third leg on my trip will be meeting up with Chris Cain, new owner of Ol'Man Treestands, & Nate Swanson of Hunt Nebraska Inc. for a Nebraska Turkey hunt. Darrell and I hunted with Nate a couple of years ago and had great success. I'm looking forward to another chance to stomp around the hills of Nebraska! www.HuntNebraskaInc.com
