We had a great trip with Nate Swanson and Hunt Nebraska ( www.HuntNebraskaInc.com ).
The first two days of the hunt we got some killer footage and I think we call in 7 mature birds to within 50 yards or closer. We just could not get the shooter and camera lined out. Sunday evening I talked Nate in to carrying his shotgun and us to split up about 200 yards to increase our odds...IT WORKED!! Nate called in two monster toms that came on a dead run to the Pretty Boy. Nate took one out.
That night Chris Cain, owner of Ol'Man Treestands ( www.OlManOutdoors.com ), joined us and we split up that next morning. This time I was able to score! As usual, I made it interesting, but you'll have to watch the show this fall to find out HOW.
Tues morning Me & Chris set up in a brush blind up on a hill just above two big roost. Nate sat across the valley with binos to get a birds eye view. It was a prefect morning...calm, clear, & lots of birds. A little after 7am Chris shot the biggest bird of the trip...a 10 incher!!
Awesome time, awesome footage, and an awesome hunt! Thanks Nate & John. We always enjoy the time spent with you guys and Hunt Nebraska!
