I love going to South Texas in January. Most other deer seasons are over or are slowing down, but South Texas is getting fired up. Darrell and I got go hunt with
Christopher and Maria Roswell with Lazy R Hunts (www.lazyrhunts.com). They are located in Maverick Co near Eagle Pass, TX (home of the big deer).
In a matter of
three days Darrell and I both harvested two nice managment bucks, one feral hog a piece, and we both took two javelinas a piece with our Mathews bows. All this in three days (and it was raining one of the days). It is truely amazing at the wildlife that hides in the South Texas brush country.
