I must admit...I am a little behind. I have several good excuses, but I will not go into them all.
Bowmex Outfitters. We got a chance to go hunt with Bowmex Outfitters (www.BowmexOutfitters.com.) in Old Mexico and it was a blast. It was Me, Darrell, and Scott Shultz (president of Scent Blocker) that were doing the hunting. It was so action packed we will get at least two shows. Darrell and I both took nice bucks, all three of us took javelinas and hogs. Scott had a close call with a monster (160" ten point) that just did not work out. Then he got picky and he had to go home empty handed, but that is hunting.
To give you some details about Bowmex Outfitters. You can check out their website @ www.BowmexOutfitters.com. Bowmex is a bowhunting only ranch just across the Rio Grande River in Old Mexico. They specialize in whitetail deer and it is a awesome place for a hunter who is new to bowhunting or to the long time veteran bowhunter. They have some really good quality deer and when you throw in a javelina or hog... that equals lots of action. The lodging is modest, but for me if the hunting is good that is all that matters.
Another plus is that Mexico deer season runs to the end of January. So when deer season is closed most places you can still hunt Mexico. Also, crossing the border is not a big deal when you are using archery equipment.
Perry,Suzanne, Mike, and Jeff were all a joy to work with and bent over backwards to make sure we had a great hunt...THANK YOU!
Over all is was an awesome trip and do not be surprise to see us back next year.
OH YEAH...My buck was bigger than Darrells (of course that probably does not surprise most of you)....ADIOS!!
