We had a very successful antelope hunt with Big Buck Outfitters(www.bigbuckoutfitters.net). I tagged out on the evening of day 2 with a wide horned goat. My Matthews Outback bow performed to perfection and the Carbon Express arrow and Thunderhead 100 put the goat down within 20 yards. Darrell was actually in a Double Bull about 75 yards away hunting a different fence crossing. He heared the crashing of the antelope hitting the fence and he when he turned around he realized that I was tagged out.
The next morning we all got to sit together in a Double Bull (Me, Darrell, Stephen, and Joe). A couple hours after daylight Darrell got to release his arrow and made a great shot. We got to see Darrell's antelope go down withing a 100 yards of our blind. The two camera angles is going to make this show outstanding (Stephen focused on me and Darrell and Joe was on the antelope).
Big Buck Outfitters has the antelope and the whitetail deer. In one evening we drove around and saw 500 to 1,000 whitetail in the alfalfa fields. This was our first Big Game hunt of the fall and it looks like we are started off on the right foot.
